We first reported on the LEB tunnel construction project in the heart of Lausanne in August 2021. Now, around six months later, project manager Philippe Wuillemin and Urs Flückiger, Head of Infrastructure, show the impressive progress of the large-scale project and the work currently being carried out. The tunnel construction project for the Lausanne-Echallens-Bercher (LEB) railway line will be completed in a few weeks. The tunnel is expected to be put into operation in spring 2022.
