With around 2,500 vehicles, Swisscom has one of the largest company fleets in Switzerland, which is why mobility is also one of the biggest drivers of direct emissions. All emissions from mobility are to be halved by 2025 and completely eliminated by 2030. The entire vehicle fleet will gradually be switched to e-cars by 2030.
Our cablex colleagues are on the road every day with almost 1,000 electric cars, serving customers sustainably and with reduced noise. Vehicles are charged either at a cablex location, while out and about, or at home.
What we do:
Environmental management that impresses.
We do not limit our sustainability commitment to reducing emissions through the new e-vehicles; we also offer customised customer solutions in the area of smart energy infrastructure. Services range from the planning, implementation and support of innovative energy solutions, such as photovoltaic systems and battery storage systems, to the integration of modern electromobility infrastructures. Our expertise enables us to create efficient and sustainable systems that both optimise energy consumption and actively contribute to the energy transition.
The optimisation of supply chains and the use of recyclable materials is part of the ESG strategy at cablex and is consistently implemented. In this way, we contribute to the preservation of valuable raw materials and conserve resources. cablex is ISO 14001 certified and is regularly checked by internal and external audits.
