Roger Keller becomes the new CEO.

Since March 2024, Francesco Castelletti has been managing the business of cablex as CEO ad interim with great success. During this time, the cablex Board of Directors finalised the search for a new CEO, so Roger Keller will take over the management of cablex as Chief Executive Officer on 1 January 2025. Roger has many years of experience in sales and in the management of business units, most recently as Head of SME Business at Swisscom Business Customers, where he and his team developed and successfully implemented the growth strategy for the ICT market.

Francesco Castelletti is still available in an advisory capacity until the end of 2024. He will then take his well-deserved retirement after working for the Swisscom Group for over 40 years.

Ulrich Schädler becomes the new CFO.

With his many years of experience within Swisscom, Ulrich Schädler is a well-connected colleague for the role of CFO.

Ulrich Schädler started his career at Swisscom in 2002, and various positions within Finance led him to his current role as CFO of Swisscom INI. He has held this position for eleven years and is financially responsible for the entire investment portfolio of Swisscom Switzerland.  Ulrich Schädler helped set up the Swisscom DevOps Centre locations in Rotterdam and Riga and is a member of the Supervisory Board of the SDCs. Ulrich was also involved in defining and implementing the Best Net strategy in Switzerland, so he can now apply the knowledge he acquired in network construction and maintenance at cablex.

Ulrich Schädler will take over the finances of cablex from Urs Ringgenberg on 1 January 2025 and thus becomes a member of the cablex Executive Board.

When Francesco Castelletti assumed the role of CEO ad interim, he handed over the management of Field Services to Thomas Von Arx on an interim basis. The cablex Board of Directors has decided to permanently transfer the management of Field Services to Thomas von Arx as of 1 October 2024, and he thus becomes a member of the cablex Executive Board.

Stefan Nünlist, Chairman of the Board of Directors of cablex, comments:

On behalf of the Board of Directors of cablex, I would like to thank Francesco Castelletti and Urs Ringgenberg for the work they have done over the past few years. You have shaped cablex and helped to position it to be the success it is today. I wish all the new members of the cablex management team every success and enjoyment in their work with the highly motivated colleagues at cablex. You are entering a new and very exciting environment, and I look forward to actively shaping the future of the company with you.

Stefan Nünlist, Chairman of the Board of Directors of cablex.
