Safety Check-HEADER 16-9

Attention: Safety check!

Most cablex employees have already met our seven safety specialists on construction sites. And that's a good thing, because occupational health and safety is a high priority at cablex. We do everything we can to prevent accidents at work.

Safe and health-conscious action requires appropriate knowledge. Through regular and systematic training, cablex employees are able to recognise job-specific hazards, take appropriate measures and thus prevent accidents. In addition, the training courses ensure general safety-conscious behaviour on the construction site or at the workplace as well as safe handling of existing facilities, work equipment and the necessary personal protective equipment.

Safety mission statement.

In addition to the corporate mission statement, cablex has formulated a separate safety mission statement for the area of

  • We want to protect all employees from physical injury caused by accidents, occupational risks and work-related health problems, while complying with legal requirements. This is an ethical and moral obligation that we wish to uphold.
  • We want to minimise downtime due to accidents, illnesses and work-related health problems in order to ensure an efficient, trouble-free and economical work process.
  • The health, safety and well-being of our employees and partners are important to us. We promote these things through the appropriate organisation of work, leadership and training, as well as regular information, further education and monitoring.

Audits and workplace and construction site inspections are carried out regularly to check whether the rules are being adhered to and whether compliance with occupational health and safety targets is being taken seriously.

Live during a site inspection.

We accompanied our Head of Safety, Security & Quality Assurance, André Franke, on a construction site inspection and can say one thing from the off: The cablex cable pulling team has very positive memories of this site inspection. But see for yourself how a site inspection like this works:

Attention: Safety check!
